Every family hides a secret. In 2002, during an economic crisis in Argentina, Arturo, a 77 year old veterinarian, is abducted in Buenos Aires. His granddaughter Guillermina, 30, must negotiate the ransom with the abductors. She seeks help from her mother, Teresa, who lived in France. Teresa is forced to return to Argentina. Together with Guillermina, they negotiate Arturo's ransom and because of that, they will revive painful facts of the past.
