Based on the diaries of young argentinians, Alberto Granado and Ernesto Guevara de la Serna, whom later would turn in to the revolutionary icon known as "El Che", MOTORCYCLES DIARIES tells about the amazing journey of self discovery which inspires the legendary leader.

With a very romantic sense of adventure, these two friends leave Buenos Aires with the desire of discovering Latin America, in an era previous to television and global information. While they cross the continent, in an eight month journey, Ernesto and Alberto live in a human and social topography which is very complex and turns their juvenile journey in a profound social awakening.
