The tarka flute is a unique square flute of the Andes. Artisans from the Highlands of the Andes shape the wood, carve traditional designs and delicately hand paint the flute. The tarka flute sound and scale are different from any other Andean flute. It sounds very soft and mellow with a rasp in the low range.
